A color touch screen, with user-friendly icons, replaces function keys and switches. Fully automatic functions virtually eliminate operating mistakes. Random access parameters selection allows the user to define analytes run sequences. With nine models featuring different configurations, there is an ideal AVL Omni for every application. The modular design of the AVL Omni will enable it to adapt to your needs as they change and expand in the future. Furthermore, with the optional AutoQC module you can perform automatic quality control measurements, saving you time and money. Measured parameters on the AVL Omni include blood gas, electrolytes, hemoglobin, co-oximetry, and metabolite. Features of the AVL Omni include fully automatic liquid calibration of all parameters in fixed or user-defined intervals and 27–40 analysis/hour operating range (depending on model). Other features of the AVL Omni include integrated PC, monitor, thermal printer, bar-code reader and interfaces, and auto QC (optional) with space for up to 120 QC ampoules.
