A portable blood gas analyzer that runs each sample in a disposable cassette containing all reagents and electrodes. So with no samples, there’s no cost. Cassettes can be stored anywhere from 4-40 degrees C and are stable for up to 6 months. Running a sample with the AVL OPTI 1 is as easy as scanning the bar code, inserting the cassette, and attaching the sample (capillary or syringe). Calibration and sample aspiration are automatic. Making it so simple, first-time users can run a sample with minimal training. Which makes the AVL OPTI 1 a pretty convenient package itself.
