This instrument has the capability to work in a variety of applications including blood banking, RIA, clinical chemistry, microbiology, bioresearch and industrial. Features of the IEC DPR 6000 include outstanding speed control with automatic acceleration to selected speed and accurately maintained RPM no matter what the load, auto-dynamic braking with continuous control settings allow for full coast to full brake depending on the rate required by the sample, large logically-arranged controls, achieves speeds up to 6000rpm/7275xG, imbalance sensor that automatically terminates the run if load is improperly balanced, counterbalanced cover will not open while rotor is spinning and will not allow operation until the cover is securely latched, and brush wear indicator that provides advanced warning before motor brushes must be replaced.
