The IEC Model K floor model centrifuge is a heavy duty, large capacity machine designed for high speed with constant or intermittent use. The Model K is a G-testing machine designed for use by the electronic industry. Designed for production sampling and research, the unit has features such as an automatic timer, dynamic electric braking, and swivel casters to permit easy mobility. Additional features of the Model K include precise run times from 2 to 120 minutes in 2-minute increments, with a manual mode for unlimited runs, via use of the timer, gentle deceleration which cuts coasting time in half and help prevent resuspension, steel cabinet has removable access plates and four locking swivel casters, and operating speeds range from 1,200 to 5,500rpm, 380xG to 4,420xG respectively, depending on the heads and shields used.
